If you are ready to learn how to better reduce stress, anxiety, PTSD, depression, or pain, this two-day retreat is for you. Over the course of the weekend, we will explore 21 evidence-based interventions, including:

Z has been a massage therapist, acupuncturist, energy worker, yoga instructor, and health coach since 2010 and has offered workshops and retreats centered around relaxation and self-care since 2014. Over the years, he has learned which practices, tools, and techniques clients have found to be most helpful when it comes to reducing stress and anxiety. These will be the specific techniques that will be discussed and practiced during “Rest and Digest: An Exploration of 21 Holistic, Stress-Reducing, Evidence-Based Practices.”

As your guide for the weekend, Z will strive for cultural humility and competence while exploring these practices by including discussions about the histories, teachings, and theories that informed each culture as they developed these (often ancient) techniques. Additionally, he will pair his knowledge about these topics with hundreds of scientific, peer-reviewed journal articles that demonstrate the potential health benefits of each practice.
