Items for stimulating vision may include favorite books/magazines/movies/video games, pictures of people and places you love, funny pictures, art supplies (markers, pens, pencils, crayons, paint, pastels), coloring pages or coloring books, notebook/journal, poetry, affirmation cards, postcards, sunglasses, kaleidoscopes, glow sticks, glitter jar, bubbles, and miniature figurines.
Items for stimulating touch may include fidget toys, stress balls, playdough, stuffed animals, jewelry, slap bracelets, bubble wrap, pillows, board/card games, sensory stickers, items from nature (rocks, crystals, pinecones, seashells, feathers), different kinds of fabric (silk, velvet, felt, burlap), comfortable clothes (pajamas, socks, scarves), comb/brush, body scrub, hot/cold packs, heating pad, massage oil and tools, mani/pedi supplies, and a weighted blanket.
Items for stimulating sound may include music, instruments (bells, chimes, tuning forks, shakers, drums, singing bowls), earbuds, bluetooth speaker, noise machine, guided meditations, binaural beats, ASMR, and earplugs.
Items for stimulating smell may include scented lotion, candles, incense, essential oils, tea/herbs, flowers, bath bombs, perfume/cologne, and potpourri.
